Shahed joined the Asset Strategies team at the Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AHMA) in November 2023 as the energy projects advisor. As an energy and climate justice practitioner and systems thinker, she has worked with low-income, Indigenous, and frontline communities to bring equitable energy efficiency solutions to equity-deserving populations. Today, she builds meaningful partnerships with funders, different levels of government, and utilities to support urban Indigenous housing providers across British Columbia design and implement energy efficiency and resiliency solutions.
