Stephen Uwazota has extensive experience in Finance covering Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate & Commercial Banking and Credit Risk Management. Stephen currently leads Sustainable Finance for Scotiabank’s Commercial banking eegment across Canada where he leads a team responsible for providing ESG/Sustainable Finance Advisory and Capital solutions towards the attainment of the bank’s goal of mobilizing $350 Billion of capital to support our clients’ transition to a Lower- Carbon economy. He holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto), an Msc Investments from the University of Birmingham(England), the CFA Charter and enjoys playing squash.
