As Executive Director of Sustainable Buildings Canada (SBC), Mike Singleton has more than 30 years of experience as an energy economist focused on energy policy and resource planning. In his role as Executive Director of SBC, Mike is focused on building capacity through the use of hands-on activities including Design workshops aimed at demonstrating the potential to improve building designs and operations through the integrated design process. Mike led the team that developed the initial platform for the implementation of the Energiesprong program in Eastern Canada. He is currently focused on developing tools and capacity to deliver deep energy retrofits in commercial and multi-unit residential buildings.
