Darla has been working in the field of sustainability for over 20 years, the last ten of which have been with SES Consulting – an energy efficiency engineering firm. She has extensive experience engaging diverse audiences to take action on climate change through education, program design, and social marketing initiatives.

Recently her work has focused on multi-family building retrofits delivering the Metro Vancouver Strata Energy Advisor Pilot Program in 2019 and The FortisBC Deep Energy Retrofit Pilot 2022
