Kit is responsible for developing and executing KingSett’s sustainability strategy and managing the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risks and opportunities across KingSett’s existing properties, developments, lending, and internal operations. Kit leads the development of decarbonization strategies across KingSett’s portfolio and is responsible for its annual ESG reporting. Prior to joining KingSett, Kit was the Senior Manager of Sustainability at Triovest Realty Advisors. While at Triovest, Kit grew green building certification coverage, rolled out new technologies to improve asset and portfolio ESG performance, achieve Triovest’s Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) Global Sector Leader standing, and develop and implement Triovest’s Innovation strategy. Kit’s experience covers over a decade of business and sustainability experience across a variety of industry sectors. Kit holds an Honours Bachelors degree in Environmental Science from Dalhousie University and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
