Sheida is a co-founder and CEO of Adaptis, a decision-support platform for decarbonization and circularity planning in the built environment. Sheida is an Architect and holds a PhD in Construction Management from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Sheida is an expert in design optimization methodologies, decarbonization of existing buildings and improving circularity in the built environment. She is a passive-house certified designer and has over ten years of professional experience in architecture, development and construction firms.
