Eliana Chia joined the Fraser Basin Council in 2015 as part of the Climate Change and Air Quality Program and she is currently the Program Manager of Climate Change. At FBC, Eliana manages the Adaptation program, including projects on extreme heat and renewable energy climate risk, as well as the First Nations Home EnergySave program. She is passionate about building community capacity and strengthening resilience and integrating equity and inclusion into sustainability initiatives.

Eliana graduated from the University of British Columbia’s School of Community and Regional Planning with a Master’s Degree in Planning, specializing in social planning and community development. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Development from Queen’s University.
