For over 25 years, Danielle has held progressive leadership roles in the alternative energy and utility sectors, working in investor relations, marketing, market research and customer service. Today, she proudly leads FortisBC's Conservation and Energy Management team, delivering energy efficiency programs to electricity and gas customers.
Together with her team, Danielle has grown FortisBC’s annual investment in energy efficiency from approximately $39 million in 2016 to nearly $136 million in 2023. These investments support FortisBC customers to lower their energy use while improving building comfort and operational process performance. The resulting reduction in gas usage also lowers greenhouse gas emissions. Danielle is passionate about FortisBC’s decarbonization goals and enhancing energy efficiency awareness for FortisBC customers.
