Abhilash (Abhi) Kantamneni is the Director of Action Research at Efficiency Canada, where he leads national initiatives that use energy efficiency as a tool to reduce poverty, create 'good jobs', and improve housing. A recognized public speaker and advocate, Abhilash has been named a Canada Storyteller by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and a U.S. Energy Leader by Midwest Energy News. Abhi applies an action-research approach to bridging the gap between research, policy and on-the-ground practice.
