Moises has a diverse and robust background in sustainable energy solutions. Born and raised in Mexico, Moises graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. In 2007, he moved to Canada, where he began his career as a senior technician, gaining invaluable hands-on experience that has profoundly influenced his practical and effective consulting approach.
Moises furthered his expertise by earning a Master of Engineering in Clean Energy from UBC. His passion for sustainability and clean energy is evident in his extensive work across various sectors. Moises has specialized in conducting comprehensive energy and decarbonization studies, feasibility assessments, and the design and management of large-scale energy retrofit projects in residential, commercial, and critical environments, including data centers, healthcare facilities, and laboratories.
Throughout his career, Moises has demonstrated a keen ability to design, review and optimize heat recovery and building automation systems. He has also developed Measurement and Verification (M&V) plans for both new and existing buildings, ensuring that they meet rigorous energy efficiency standards. Notably, he has been involved in designing healthcare facilities in Western Canada pursuing Net Zero Energy/Carbon.
