Duncan has dedicated his career to the building science industry with an emphasis on sustainability, passive and resilient design. He supports RJC nationwide and is the sustainable design specialist for building restoration in Ontario..
Duncan has built a reputation as a skilled engineer who applies an in-depth understanding of building science principles to each project and an ability to manage large and complex retrofit projects of all types. His experience includes the assessment and rehabilitation of many building types, both contemporary and historic.
He completed his Bachelors and Masters degrees at the University of Toronto, as well as a Certificate in Preventative Engineering. Duncan is a member of the Ontario Building Envelope Council, International Institute of Enclosure Consultants, and Passive House Canada. He is currently a voting member of the Standing Committee on Environmental Separation for Part 5 of the National Building Code.
