Tim is a certified building and mould inspector with R-2000, Built Green, and Occupational Health and Safety accreditation. As a past Board Member with the Canadian Home Builders Association, he advised on local and national policy and authored reports for Provincial Government and BC Housing around unlocking construction challenges in remote First Nations Communities.
With 25+ years of industry experience, Tim has developed numerous construction policies, specifications, and contracts based on individualized requirements and best practice principles. Tim uses a thoughtful approach to identify, prioritize, and implement housing upgrades and has worked in 100s of homes in First Nations Communities.
Prior to joining Community Power, Tim successfully operated three thriving construction companies where he managed a high volume of complex residential construction projects valued at over $200 million collectively. Components of his past projects have included green roof construction, solar installations, energy retrofit upgrading, mould analysis and remediation, health and safety remediation, accessibility retrofits, structural repairs, and building envelope upgrading.
