Carly Connor is a Professional Engineer working at the intersection of restoration, climate adaptation, and circular construction. She is the Founder & CEO of Green Salvaged Materials, a Canadian initiative building the infrastructure to scale material reuse and unlock the carbon value embedded in existing buildings.
With a background in structural engineering and restoration, Carly advances strategies that extend building life, reduce embodied carbon, and position existing structures as critical climate assets.
She serves as Chair of the Advocacy Committee for the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals, Co-Chair of the Technical Committee for Sustainable Preservation within the Association for Preservation Technology, and represents the sector in the Zero Net Carbon Collaboration for Historic and Existing Buildings.
