Eduard’s work informs and supports strategic decision making on decarbonization strategies, low carbon energy infrastructure design and implementation, and energy and climate policy development. He leads and supervises analysis that combines robust technical, emissions/climate and financial analysis in a broader multi-criteria assessment framework that also leverages carefully structured engagement plans with internal and external interest holders. Eduard works with municipalities, regional governments, post-secondary institutions and building portfolio owners as their “decarbonization partner”.
Eduard has participated in research networks such as the Smart Net-Zero Energy Buildings Strategic Research Network (SNEBRN) and the International Energy Agency’s task 40 “Towards Net Zero Energy Solar Buildings”. As a subject matter expert, he has taught engineering and sustainable energy courses at the University of Calgary, Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain), and SAIT Polytechnic.
