Etienne Gravel is actively committed to sustainability and innovation in construction. A civil engineering graduate of Université de Sherbrooke, he went on to study Building Technology at Delft University of Technology. He joined Pomerleau in 2016, and for the past two years has headed the Sustainability Team at the company level, and the Environmental Compliance Team for the Building Business Unit. His team of experts support over a hundred projects, meeting the growing demand for sustainable certifications such as LEED, Passive House, Carbon Zero and Envision, as well as ensuring that our operations comply with projects' environmental requirements. He also works to implement the company's ESG strategy through concrete actions, including decarbonizing construction activities and implementing circular economy projects.
