Chris Chopik is a climate strategist, writer, and researcher at Resilient Homes Canada, Consultancy. Chris is an influential housing industry innovator and a respected authority on the intersection of housing, energy, resiliency, and climate change. Chris has authored and coauthored some of the leading investigations connecting the financial costs of catastrophic events for lenders, governments, and property owners in Canada. With more than 20 years of experience in climate change and housing, Chris's work includes an extensive exploration of the future of "Property Value in an Era of Climate Change” (2019), which examines the financial impact of natural hazards on property values across North America. He holds a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University.
