Taushifa Shaikh (she/her) serves as a Senior Analyst in the Pembina Institute’s Buildings Program. She is dedicated to advancing an accessible and sustainable buildings ecosystem that supports both people and the environment over the long term. Taushifa brings cross-sector experience in research, policy, and government relations across the non-profit, federal, and provincial spheres.

At Pembina, her work focuses on accelerating the Reframed Initiative to strengthen pathways to scale resilient, deep energy retrofits. She has previously worked at the Canadian Home Builders’ Association, UBC Sustainability Hub, and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
