As a retrofit coach with Alberta Ecotrust Foundation’s Retrofit Accelerator Dr. Jim Sandercock helps large building owners identify ways to improve their energy performance through deep retrofit projects. Major services include benchmarking, desktop retrofit analyses, supporting the scoping and interpretation of deep retrofit plans (based on ASHRAE 2+ Audits), and identifying funding and financing opportunities.

Jim is Co-Chair of the Energy Transition and Climate Resilience Committee (ETCRC), a committee mandated to provide independent advice to Edmonton City Council. Prior to working at Alberta Ecotrust, Jim was the Chair of the Alternative Energy program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)
