Taylor Owen is a creative policy developer, innovator, and collaborative leader focused on climate change mitigation, net-zero buildings, and community development. She is the Director of Building to Zero Exchange (BTZx), where she leads organizational strategy, partnerships, and program implementation to accelerate the transition to zero-carbon buildings. Taylor oversees multi-partner initiatives spanning workforce development, industry engagement, research, and public policy, ensuring projects move from vision to execution with measurable impact.
Previously, Taylor worked with HCi3, the Halifax Climate Investment, Innovation and Impact Fund, where she designed and implemented granting and investment programs. She also played a key role in advancing Halifax’s climate action plan with the Halifax Regional Municipality and contributed to community-based clean energy initiatives at the Nova Scotia Department of Energy.
She holds a Bachelor of Management in Resource and Environmental Management from Dalhousie University.
