Melissa Felder, M.Sc. Eng., is a nationally recognized climate and decarbonization strategist with 25+ years of experience advancing research-driven policy, market transformation, and cross-sector partnerships across Canada. She specializes in buildings, energy systems, transportation, and clean technology, translating technical analysis into strategies that drive measurable emissions reductions. As Director of Research at Clean Prosperity, she led a national net-zero energy policy program, delivering modelling and spatial analysis that informed federal climate and energy policy. At MaRS Discovery District, she founded and scaled its climate and cleantech impact practice, leading multidisciplinary teams and securing partnerships with governments and institutional clients, including contributions to Canada’s International Cleantech Strategy. Melissa serves on the board of QUEST Canada and holds a Master of Science in Chemical & Biological Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
