Joshua Green is the co-founder and CEO of Mysa Smart Thermostats, a company he started in 2016 alongside his brother Zachary Green out of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The idea for Mysa came from a simple gap in the market — there weren't many smart thermostat options for high-voltage baseboard heating systems, which dominate homes across Atlantic Canada.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University and a certificate in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from Harvard Business School Online. Before Mysa, he worked as a Facilities Engineer at ExxonMobil.

Under his leadership, Mysa has grown into a leading smart thermostat company with products spanning baseboard, in-floor, mini-split, and central HVAC systems. Mysa is also a key partner for utilities and energy efficiency programs across North America, delivering demand response and rebate programs with partners including BC Hydro, Puget Sound Energy, Newfoundland Power, and Efficiency Nova Scotia. In 2022, Mysa was named techNL's BDC Tech Company of the Year.
