Janice is the Section Manager for the Private Buildings section of the Climate Change and Resiliency Unit at the City of Ottawa where she has worked for 4 years. With the City, she was a co-author of the Energy Evolution Strategy and now manages the development and implementation of the Better Homes and Better Buildings programs. She has a background in sustainable energy businesses, social financing, and community organizing. Prior to joining the City, she managed the Ottawa Renewable Energy Co-operative and CoEnergy Co-op for 9 years where she developed local solar energy and energy conservation projects.
