Olivia is a professional engineer and certified energy manager with a background in environmental stewardship and energy conservation. Prior to joining FortisBC, she served as a research and project engineer for Alberta Agricultural and Forestry. In that capacity, Olivia spearheaded initiatives aimed at energy conservation pre-farm gate, delving into areas such as building design, emerging technologies, and even obtaining her unmanned aerial vehicle pilot license to conduct field crop studies utilizing multispectral imaging.
Transitioning to FortisBC, Olivia served as an Energy Conservation Advisor in the FortisBC electric territory before assuming her current role, where she designs and managers DSM programs for commercial and industrial customers.
Alongside her professional career, Olivia is an experienced hobby potter.
