Adam Wills is a Research Officer at the National Research Council Canada (NRC), where he supports building code development for residential buildings and leads research on Canadian housing energy performance and renewables integration. With 15 years of experience in building performance simulation, he specializes in analyzing and optimizing building design for energy use, thermal comfort, and net-zero energy. Adam will
discuss how his team at NRC, in collaboration with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Natural Resources Canada, is leveraging detailed building simulation to assess the performance and potential interactions of retrofit measures applied to housing for adaptation and mitigation of multiple climate change risks.
