Investing in deep retrofits has been recognized as a sure-fire way to drive significant economic activity and create jobs, drive down energy waste and Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions, and generate valuable social benefits.  It’s possible and viable, but also complex.  What’s needed is strategic support for the planning, implementation and financing to accelerate public and private capital deployment and ensure optimized outcomes.  Learn about The Atmospheric Fund’s retrofit delivery service that builds on decades of investing in this space, and the need and opportunity for market development to accelerate the pace and scale of retrofits across Canada.  Julia will also provide an update the Low Carbon Cities Canada (LC3) network operating in seven major cities/regions from coast to coast.
